The latest ENSO report continues with near average SST's (Sea Surface Temperatures). My forecast continues the trend for periodic strong cold fronts-but precipitation events should be remain near average. North Texas precipitation totals for 2013 are ahead of last year and drought conditions are decreasing in favor of near-average precipitation. Still, proper use of water is encouraged and municipalities should prepare for a potential wildfire season especially over western North Texas areas.
